The Tiger’s Nest
This is a unique temple that is located in Bhutan, South Asia. The name of this temple otherwise known as the Taktsang Monastery comes from the fact that it is built at the edge of a 3,00ft cliff. One needs to be well prepared physically and mentally to get to the temple as it takes about 3 hours by foot from where you park your car. The temple dates back to the 17th century although it was renovated in the year 1998.
